RSK – Mrs Khan and Ms A Adade

Mrs K Jones – HLTA , Mrs Akhtar - EYFS support.

We provide fun and stimulating activities to meet the needs of all children as every child is unique. The staff ensure that children develop positive relationships to become confident and independent learners.

This Autumn half term we are reading 'Ruby's Worry', 'Colour Monster' and 'Stickman'.

During this half term, we will be using our five senses of touch, taste, sight, smell and hearing, we will experience and investigate the environment around us. Also, we will be exploring our emotions and how to manage these. We will be looking at various Celebrations; Diwali, Bonfire Night and Christmas and performing the Nativity.

Our Maths will be focused on 2D shapes (circles, triangles, squares and rectangles) and continue to explore numbers 1,2 3 and extend our learning to numbers to 4 and 5.

Reception will be going out into the wider community to enhance their learning. They will be exploring the Winter season. We will be walking alongside Foleshill Road to observe features of their community and looking at signs of Winter in the park and surroundings.

Our learning is play based. Children learn through their interactions with the engaging environment and exciting and challenging activities.

We have set up Floppy's Phonics online for parents. This will allow you to access the teaching tools we use in school as well as some ebooks for reading. If you're not sure how to log on, please ask a member of staff. We will gladly help you!
